Fire
Never put water on burning oil or fat – if there is a cooking fire, take the fire blanket out of the red sleeve in the kitchen and put it on top of the fire, then turn the heat off.
In the event of a fire:
Shout FIRE. Get everyone out through the front door or a window if there is no access to the door. Call 999. Close doors and windows.
Fire Preparation
Please make all of your guests aware of the exit routes from each room when you arrive.
For safety, it’s best to keep doors closed at night to hold back fire and smoke.
If any equipment develops a fault, please let John know on 07887 743522. This could include smoke and heat alarms but also any other equipment.
